Invader 22
Now I have asked a lot of people about this roller system - with little response - though Jeckells had knowlege of it when I made an enquiry over sails.
Basically, the whole thing spins - forestay, wire halyard, sail foil. The halyard tensions to a shackle at the top of the lower roller unit.
The alloy foil is in sections - slid together - with the gaps overlapped. The front section encloses the forestay, the rear the sail bolt-rope.
The top unit and roller drum both have bearing in the middle - allowing the whole lot to spin around.
