Settled on establishing the boot top in primer - so I can paint it later, prior to the water with a hard anti foul - though may just do it with Brightside gloss.
The blue topsides, now they have dried off for a couple of months - can now take a final polish. I tried a few places where were a few rough patches - find I can flat it off with 1200 wet & dry, then Polish it up without much effort with Farcela rubbing polish. Nice to able to tidy up the odd patches that have been annoying me at close quarters - and may do the whole thing.
The stripe is a stick on, sort of matt gold - about 5.00 ukp for 15 metres - looks great.
